Cement Modifier LD-1589

LD-1589 Cement Modifier is a high-solids acrylic polymer designed to enhance the performance of Life Specialty Coatings cement products, including LD-1, LD-2, LD-3 and LD-5. When blended with these cement powders, LD-1589 increases strength, flexibility, adhesion and overall durability. It improves waterproofing, extends working time, and allows cement mixes to feather smoothly for detailed finishes. LD-1589 also boosts freeze-thaw stability, provides excellent stain resistance, and offers superior bonding compared to PVA and SBR modifiers. Ideal for resurfacing, patching, overlays, bond coats and underlayments, this water-based, non-yellowing additive delivers consistent results across a wide range of decorative and structural applications.
